ping pong fun

On a previous Sunday evening, we went to the Linkai Sports gym where our church had reserved a bunch of tables for ping pong fun. I was planning to watch, but when I saw the level of most of the people, I joined as I was at least in the middle. Below are DH and Mr. M who were unquestionably the best players there playing a doubles against a Chinese pair.

After playing we gathered at the church social room for dinner. It was delicious and fixed by the pastors wife and some other wonderful church ladies. Our church had invited the Chiba Kokusai Church young people, so there were many wonderful young people from several Asian countries there.

Well,

There are many persons who want to learn one sport. But they are too hesitant because they lack the so called physical traits such as tallness and strength. In many known sports, such as basketball and lawn tennis, tallness and strength posts a great advantage. When you do not possess these physical qualities, you are limited by fate to be second-best players.

In ping pong, being small and not too powerful are not too much of a disadvantage. As long as you can work out on your consistency and agility successfully, you can win a match. For smaller persons, stop hesitating and learn table tennis right away.

Yes being small is almost a disadvantage in pingpong too as your reach is less, however I play it more for fun. I think being a jockey is probably the only sport where short and small is absolutely better!
